ABOUT
ME!
Alexa Rossi is an Orlando based freelance choreographer and teacher with a degree in dance from Point Park University. Prior to her attendance at Point Park, Alexa had the pleasure of attending The Ailey School and Broadway Dance Center’s Professional semester Program where she was given the opportunity to study with and be mentored by renowned choreographers. During her time at Point Park, Alexa choreographed and produced her first two original full length works based on “The Yellow Wallpaper” and “The Giving Tree." Her choreography has been presented in Broadway Dance Center's Showcase in NYC, National High School Dance Festival, Florida Dance Education Organization events and much more. She is currently teaching and choreographing in her hometown of Orlando, FL, as well as serving as Assistant Company Director at Dr. Phillips High School. Alexa has an original approach to jazz and contemporary dance and enjoys recognizing the importance of individuality in the dance world. She is a member of Florida Dance Masters and currently serves as a board member for the National Dance Educators Organization.
